When the Pantry Runs Low

This page is meant to serve as a living, community-sourced list of food pantries, mobile food banks, and free meal programs. It begins with Metro Detroit and will expand as readers across the country share information about local resources.

How You Can Help

Food insecurity is a community issue that requires collective care. No one should feel embarrassed for seeking food assistance. Systems may fail, but community care can fill the gap. If this page helped you, share it with others. If you can, add a new resource so someone else can find their next meal.
If you are in a position to help, consider:

  1. Donating directly to any of the organizations listed above
  2. Volunteering at a local distribution site, or simply sharing this page with others
  3. Submitting any local food bank/pantry/distribution organization or resource you’re aware of, especially if they are lesser known organizations (including church food pantries) below.

Every share, donation, and conversation matters!

If you know of a food pantry, community fridge, or meal program that isn’t captured by pantrynet.org and should be included, please use the form below to share it. Each entry will be reviewed and verified before publication to keep this list dependable for readers nationwide.
